Hi all,
I am using k2 and cannot place images into the body of the item text.

When first inserted, the image is inset from the left by about 50px. I can drag it to another location and it then aligns left but the caption becomes disconnected from the image. I have tried other editors but to no avail.

What I need is a class that sets the image to float left (or right) with appropriate margins on the other three sides. Maybe such classes exist, but where are they and how do I apply them?

The arrangements for images in Joomla articles are excellent, with a neat caption on a shaded background. Can this be produced in K2?

I must be missing something here. This should be standard fare.

Hi Codger,

In our demo site of JA Nex template, we use JA Thumbnail plugin to generate thumbnail image for Joomla article so that you can see its style like that.

If you want to have K2 item has exact styling as Joomla article, I’m afraid that you must customize markup of K2 item page: /templates/ja_nex_t3/html/com_k2/nex/item.php

Hi Codger,

This is configuration of K2 component, not the editor. As my previous reply, you must customize in file /templates/ja_nex_t3/html/com_k2/nex/item.php by yourself, or contact the developer of K2 component so that they can give you the best solution.
