I want to insert the MacUpdate affiliate script into on of the TelineII News articles.

It is javascript that looks like this for a 150×150 square:

var mu_alternate_width = 150; // specify the dimensions of content from url above
var mu_alternate_height = 150;

I have tried the trick of turning off the WYSIWYG text editor, the creating and saving the article – the news popup just shows the first part of the script.

I have tried JIncludes – the news block shows the JIncludes protocol of {{ MacUpdate }}, which is the key I made…I may not be using it right…I’m going onto their forum next.

Any ideas on how to make javascript work like the above work in the News section?

I use jumi component for script within content, modules, etc. It works pretty well.
