November 1, 2008 at 10:49 pm #277733Is it possible to install the sample content/database into an existing Joomla site?
I already have Joomla 1.5.7 installed and configured with many modules so don’t want to start from scratch just could use the sample content to learn the template.

November 1, 2008 at 11:29 pm #277734Hmmm i dont think that is possible, what you can do is install a quickstart with the content into a subfolder and use that installation to see and lean the template.
November 5, 2008 at 9:35 am #278145I’ve tried installing the Edenite Quick Start from the directory (unzipped it first) but get the following error:
* Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.
* Path does not have a valid package.I have installed Joomla 1.5 via Fantastico.
Please help.

Thats where you go wrong, you dont have to install joomla first. a quickstart is a installation wich contains (joomla 1.5.7 the template and all the needed modules needed for that template)
So if you install the quickstart it will install all above inclusive a complete joomla installation so you dont need to install joomla first. Then folow the steps on the first page of this tread.

November 14, 2008 at 5:13 pm #279175I am a new member so Hi everybodey, I m going to ask a question which somebodey already asked but I just dont get it. I downloaded the teline II template and uploaded it throug my cp joomla and it looks like this: http://www.portalba.info/
But i want to see the whole website like in the demo, i read somewhere that i have to upload quickstart file and not the template file. I already have joomla installed, and is it posssible without uninstalling joomla to upload the whole website?mj1256 Friendmj1256

November 25, 2008 at 8:48 am #280222You must have done something wrong during the upload or installation. Try again or if not, get someone to do the installation for you.

January 15, 2009 at 8:07 pm #286687HI:
I have installed Zeolite quickstart version for joomla 1.5.9. succesfully. Then I deleste the intallation directory.
Finally, when I try to see the web, I get a messat from Joomla that can’t connect to the database. I have seen the configuration.php and copy another right one.
I can’t see the web
I’m getting frustrated.
Is there any problem with this template?
