I recently set up Joomla 3 on my hosting account. I found the template JA Tirisj30. When I installed it, it broke my site.

So this is the error I see in the logs,

I am new to this whole process; so, I installed the “quickstart “JA Tirisj30”; did I install everything that was needed?
Can you help me out. I created a user for you to use and provided the necessary credentials so you can log in.

@nbtsmokes: I could not test (install JA Tiris Template and JA T3v2 System Plugin) the problem directly on your site because username/password included on the thread could not permission to do that.

You can try to download both extensions from this link and install it on your site

Hello nbtsmokes
It seems you have already installed Joomla3.x and then you are installing quickstart package .
do this
download a fresh quikcstart package .
download it from here

Then install it in a new directory and with a fresh database .
Here is user guide how to install a quikcstart package

Ninja Lead: I set up a new folder / database and installed Joomla 3. Next I downloaded the files as you suggested and reinstalled them. I got an Warning
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file.

Where does this file come from and where is it supposed to be?

I, personally, would recommend performing a QUICKSTART + SAMPLE DATA installation.

Is there an easy way of doing this? I purchased a template with the Quick start option because I am not a strong designer / developer. It seems as I keep on trying what everyone is telling me I am still at step one and have less $$$ and time to get my site up.

You only really need the quickstart file – which, if you remember to install the sample data during the installation process – will give you a virtual clone of the demo version to start from/with.

all I get when I install the Quickstart is a blank page that does not allow me no log into the admin cpanel

is there anyone who can run it for me to see if I missed any steps?

It has been 8 weeks and I still don’t have a solid answer to give to my client as to why he paid for something that is not working.

Then either you did not install the template correctly or there is a bug that needs to be addressed.

Did you follow the steps outlined within the tutorials for performing a quickstart + sample data instalaltion?
