March 4, 2012 at 9:20 pm #174610Hi,
I will migrate Joomla 1.5.25 to Joomla 2.5, using the jUpgrade extension.
The Quickstart pack of the theme installs Joomla, but during the migration process Joomla 2.5 installs itself. So, how to install all the examples of the demo site of the Quickstart pack without it installs Joomla?
Is it possible to install the demo site transfering some folders/files of the Quickstart by FTP? Thank you.

March 5, 2012 at 6:19 am #441853It is not possible with the quickstart.
If you want to you may add content doing it manually by creating articles, moving images and adding all modules and assigning as in our Template Guide.
Even if you were to use the SQL data, you would need the images and to makes sure all article id’s are not in conflicts and being called correctly. You would also need to the adjust user id’s of other assets.
So basically, just not a good idea.
Maybe you could install QS on localhost and see what you wish and use that info on the site.3 users say Thank You to Blaine for this useful post

I have just a litte “problem”, how to put the house icon for the home item menu (instead of Home)? I success to put Twitter, Login etc like in the demo but not the Home icon.

March 5, 2012 at 11:06 pm #442069I think you are talking abut the main menu house icon. If so then please do this:
Make sure you are using the Mega Menu set up for the menu type.
The see this info on the mega menu under section called ADDING MENU ICONS and I believe the icon you need is called home-1.png or home.png
Please advise when I may mark this thread solved

March 6, 2012 at 2:42 am #442092Thanks but I can’t do the instructions of the tutorial: I don’t have the JA Menu Parameters Plugin.
This plugin wasn’t availabe during the download of JA Teline IV, so how to have it? And is it compatible? Thanks.

March 6, 2012 at 3:40 am #442106Just follow the instructions in the Specific section Adding Menu Icons. The plug in you need is now embedded in the 2.5 template. Skip the rest of the page I gave the link to and only see the part regarding the menu icons.
Thanks!ghjulianu Friendghjulianu
