The Ja social not include the Agora commponet and I need to pay for download it…

If i do not want to use the “quickstart” installation because an error it makes, what should I do?

The Quickstart included Agora (when it was free) on my version. What kind of error does the quickstart show for you?

I installed on a fresh copy of the “Quick Start” the Community Builder component.
When a user is trying to register an error occurred that says: “DB function reports no errors”

In addition the user that tried to register is not shown in the users list of the CB and I can only find him on the K2 users list, even there it seems defect – I cannot access to the user details, enable it and etc’…

So i tried to install manually the Ja Social template but then I saw that it not include the Agora commercial component…

By the way i saw a solution to the “DB function reports no errors” here

This “solution” did not work…

That issue is only with Ja Social Quick Start.

Eh? When JA_Social was released Agora was free but now it appears their developers have decided to charge for it. I shall bring this up as we probably should not be including Agora in the quickstart now.

some uncomfortable whit Angora :
– the mod_agora_latest_b do not display Content forum and don’t display category link (the mod_kunenalatest of KUNENA has!)
– can not upload file: when try upload file, I get communicate “Upload error: File format not allowed “, even the “Allowed File Types:” including this file format.
– Agora is now commercial, so joomlart’s user who downloads JA Social now may have to pay for Agora?
So Joomlart’s Developers may change Agora to other forum component, for example to KUNENA???:((

Since the change from free to commercial I hope so too. Just when I thought Agora was beginning to look good.

=> sorry, i can not help you on this case, please post them at the agora ‘s forum to get the solution.

And i have a suggestion on this: if you use the back color, you can use the kunena forum and get the kunena forum theme from the JA sulfur download section.
