Hello,

I am very new on Joomla!

I cannot install de vm_theme_mesolite_j15.zip file (located in the extensions folder).
I cannot understand step 4 of the user manual: “Upload extracted file to your Joomla_site_path”. After extracting the zip file there are several files: which file?
If I try to upload de zip file I get an error: “Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package”.

Unzip the package and upload the folder ‘ja-mesolite’ to componentscom_virtuemartthemes by FTP.

Then you can select it from the virtuemart panel in admin.

If this is a fresh install I would use the Quickstart package —

I personally do not upload all the files through FTP I prefer to upload the quickstart_joomla158.zip to my web server in the folder where I want to install joomla. Then log into your control panel for your web server, go to your file manager and “unpack” the file there. This method save a large amount of time and is very easy. This does assume that your web host allows you to unpack on the server but this is a fairly common feature now days.
