April 17, 2014 at 4:29 am #196828Hi guys,
Looking to integrate Community Builder into the JA Fixel Template. The process involved is unclear. Can someone give me the exact steps involved to complete this task.
Thanks Magic

April 17, 2014 at 4:17 pm #531287Hi there,
Could you please elaborate on what exactly you meant by “integrate Community Builder into JA Fixel”?
Community Builder as extension actually integrates with Joomla system. Our templates, including “JA Fixel” only dress up web pages created by your Joomla system, Community Builder or any other of your web-site extensions.
Hope this helps,
Alex

Alex thanks for getting back.
I want to install Community Builder just as you might install it on the beez or protostar template, but I think I may have already successfully completed this. You can help me out if I’m wrong, but I think the Fixel login and registration convert to CB login and registration once CB installed and configured correctly. So you won’t see a separate CB login etc as on Protostar.
I’ve also noticed that I can’t go to the Registration Form or Edit User Profile on my local testing site, and when you try to it just takes you to the Login Page (which again, offers no option for registration). No such roadblocks on my online site.
Question: Would this be because the local is local, or is there some setting I’m overlooking that would allow me access locally as well.
Also, some email systems seem to automatically route the online registration confirmation to junk mail.
Question: Is there a way I can add a message to the registration page reminding users to check their junk mail for registration confirmation, and to adjust their email settings to accept messages from us?
That’s it for now Alex.
You’ve already been a great help just getting back.Let me know what you got on the new questions.
