Can anyone tell me how I select what categories appear in the categories list that I have on the following page? http://www.myjakartaconcierge.com/index.php/en/media-center

I only want the main categories to appear; not the sub categories. So in this case I would only want to see hotels and restaurants.

I cannot find anything to click to control this in the Module Manager.

Hmm, currently seeing no css on that page. Probably worth clearing your cahche.

What layout are you using to show that? Normally you would select what items appear and how many from the menu manager for that item. From the menu manager for the blog layout you can select exactly which categories you want and how many articles selected from that category.

Hi Phil, it is back up now. http://www.myjakartaconcierge.com/index.php/en/media-center I am having a caching issue everytime I make an update the site disappears for 15 minutes. I wont make any changes for a little while to give you the opportunity to see.

I found a setting that let me limit levels to render which got rid of all the subcategories. Now I am trying to work out how to display just the categories I want.

    Hi Jim,

Setting the categories is done in the menu manager as suggested before. If you look at the menu item for your blog page you will see in the layout options tab on the right the very top option called “select categories”. You can set what you want there.

As for your cache, try going into the template manager and enabling development mode.
