January 15, 2014 at 10:19 am #193767Here, in your demo we can see four categories. On mouseover they turn and show only the Category Title and the Category Description without the Category Image. It is ok.
My pain is that the cursor changes to pointer and indicates a link. Many user may think that they can click on it but nothing happens. Nothing – except for the changed cursor – because only the category title has been linked to its menu item.
How should we get a full clickable Category Image?

January 16, 2014 at 8:58 am #518675We customized Menu Item Type: List All Categories to fit with the concept JA Fixel template, that’s reason why it is not click-able on the whole Category Image. Making it clickable will need lots of customisation, thus I am sorry for not being of much help in this case.

January 17, 2014 at 10:59 am #518855Thanks Ninja Lead!
I hope that you agree that it is the main drawback of this menu item. Most people feel they can click when the cursor changed to pointer.
Otherwise while the framework is also responsive I do not see why should we force tablet/smartphone users to aim with their fingers to a text link.:((For a weak solution I can add a linked background image by editing the Category description.
Second I should purge its 40px paddings but these mods would result unwanted changes also where we do not want…Ninja Lead ModeratorNinja Lead

January 20, 2014 at 10:49 am #519099You can try to get my attached file, extract and copy it into templates/ja_fixel/js/ path. Don’t forget to backup old file before making changes

Please try the tweak below again:
+ Download and extract my attached file
+ Copy it into templates/ja_fixel/js/ path
+ Don’t forget back-up old file before making changes
If the issue still persists, you can send me URL, admin and FTP credentials of your site via private message. I will help you out.

January 23, 2014 at 2:26 pm #519530This worked for me. I changed the original script.js to script.js.bak and uploaded the new script.js in this thread. Solved a problem for me that I didn’t know I had. THANKS

January 27, 2014 at 11:12 am #520017Thank you Ninja Lead!:)
(the only leftover for this issue is the +/- toggle at the right-bottom corner what seems a bit odd… of course we may style it by our taste but it worths an “offical” styling)January 28, 2014 at 1:44 am #520135Any way to exclude this from affecting Modules? It seems to be breaking links in my modules.

I’m not entirely sure what you mentioned above. It would be best if you can include an illustration screenshot with explanation. It would help to give you specific answer.
