I would like to list category articles in a left column menu. I would prefer an automated option… as i have a lot of articles. I’m thinking an ideal solution would list perhaps the top five and link for more articles. Or perhaps a box that lists five and then a link for more and slides to the next five and so on.

What is the best method to accomplish this?

this seems like a very nice option thanks… I’m suprised Joomlart hasn’t already incorporated such a feature… perhaps this would be a an ideal feature for future releases.
