I know that it’s better to use relative links than absolute, but we send out a lot of online publications. We are generating issues on our website and want to email them through a system like MailChimp. We can use &tmpl=component to just get the page content display, then import that URL to MailChimp for a newsletter. Our problem is the CSS links in the template (to JA elements and also other extensions) use relative links. We’ll have to edit those every time.

Is there a way to force the page to load using absolute links to all site elements? If so, is there a way to implement that to only apply to certain menu items of the website so the rest remain using relative links?

    We’re using Joomla 3.6.3.

    Hi,

Any sample of relative links issue when you share via email?
