In this case, you should go to the backend of Slideshow module, then leave a space before the class suffix name “no-padding” in Module class suffix option. In addition, you should use the origional images, not resized images in the position-5 Slideshow module. These will help your module to be responsive on mobile/tablet without using any extra styles.

August 23, 2013 at 9:16 pm #503324Hi Leo,
Would you please explain what did you meant by original and resized images ? I am using 241x240px sized images for the position-5 images and slideshows. Do you want me to use bigger sized images and then make it to the size by setting width and height in css ?
Also I couldn’t find an area to enter code/properties for creating custom slideshows (as in JA Zite) in JA Slideshow Lite installed in the quick start package of JA Mero.
Please help me out.
Thanks,

Yes. You just need to use the bigger-size images, your slideshow will be responsive finely without adding css styles. Here is our original size image of Slideshow lite module on our JA Mero template at http://joomla25-templates.joomlart.com/ja_mero/images/resized/images/joomlart/slideshow/sl-1_737_490.jpgThe problem of you slideshow lite is that the image is not wide enough to cover the width of sidebar (position-5) section on iPad and mobile devices.

You can edit the settings of Slideshow lite in the module’s backend, especially the Module class suffix at Advanced options tab. -
