    Hi,

I’ve posted this at Joomla forum but there is no response.
I wonder anyone here can suggest a solution to make 1 Joomla site with 2 categories of frontpage contents and modules?

    For example:

At http://www.mydomain.com/index.html, visitor will see 2 images with 2 different links.

For developers – click here | For end-users – click here

Clicking on Developers will show contents and module cater to developers only: New tricks, tips, jobs etc.
Clicking on End-users will show contents and module cater to end-users only: Promotions, news, gallery etc.

Is it able to achieve this without installing 2 joomla at different directories, and also before user login?

    Thanks.

You can make a index.html page and put i the root of your joomla installation. Make that page with 2 images and 2 different links. And here you can put a log in module for each if you want.
And you can use a access level component like jacl i guess to set up each acces groups, and publish only menu items for each groups as you want.
