Basically, I want the customers to Login or register themselves before they could even see any products. I want Login page to display when they click on Shop button; and after they login/register, they can see all the options in drop-down menu of the “Shop”

Set the menü item ‘Access’ to ‘Registered’ instead of ‘Public’. Then only people who have logged in will see it. Don’t forget to put a login/register button somewhere obvious!
