I’m getting frustrated I’m trying to get my popup window for the JA catpopup module look or behave exactly as the one in the demo section of joomlart for this template, I know I’m missing something, don’t know if it is a javascript or another extension, but I noticed that the way it loads is different from the way it does on my site, at joomlart demo section it shows a small bar, indicating it is loading but on my site it open inmediatley and show an the links are at top and not at a left column.
Please any advise will be appreciated, thanks.
The popup is not working in firefox or internet explorer, but I noticed that I get an error in ie when I make click to open the popup, this is the error:
Line: 58
Char: 2
Error: ‘Null’ is Null or not an object
Code: 0So I guess there is something wrong with the script. Could you please take a look at this, thanks.
Since support is not getting back to me yet I will continue to post what ever I try to fix this issue. I got rid of the error by commenting out the lines as stated on this post: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/solved-ie-error-on-page/
But the Ja catpopup is not working as it should, I don’t know what else to try.
By the way, is this a bug on the javascript

Believe me, I done that many times already.
April 22, 2008 at 11:23 am #246394I made a clean install of the “quickstart” template in another host to make sure that I didn’t skip something and the result was the same.
The Ja catpopup do not look at your demo site, and I know the files needed are including but for some reason it is not loading the javascript as it should.
Could anyone please confirm that the install de “quickstart” template and that the module is working as it should.
I don’t know what else to try.:((

April 30, 2008 at 12:35 am #247322Thanks, I think it’s for Joomla 1.5 though, I am running Joomla 1.15. I guess I have to look for a solution elsewhere. Thanks though.

I can’t get the top menu working with the slide-down options. Any hints? I’ve followed all the steps of the guide and reviewed the bug options posted here.
Doesn’t seem to matter if I select CSS style or Moo style. Help.
