    HI,

I’d like to know how to make template overrides for the purtiy template, for example how do I change the megamenu in a non-sticky menu, without being overwritten by an update of purity? Is there a manual for this on the site?

    Thanks in advance for helping.

    Kind Redards, Liesbeth

    Hi
You can create override in the template folder/local .
For example you want to customise the templates/purityIII/tpls/blocks/header.php
so you have to make an override in templates/purityIII/local/tpls/blocks/header.php
Also in case you want to define new style code or override the css files . you can define the code in /css/custom.css file in the template folder .
Copy the /tpls folder and paste in the local folder to make overrides .
    Documentation : https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/purity-iii/faqs#unsticky-menu

    Thank you!

Is it also possible to make module overrides?

I tried to make an override for the single articles module. This works fine when I place the override folder in purityIII/html/
But it doesn’t work when I place it here purityIII/local/html/
(The alternitive display is not visible in the advaced tab of the module)

    Hi
Joomla picks the override module from the template html folder only .
