Hi!
I just installed the JA K2 Filter Component and I’m struggling to find a solution to my problem:
Basically, I need the exact same thing showed in the Demo (with only two categories with multiples choices) and my main problem is when I’m using the filter (just selecting the author or whatever for example) I am redirected to another page in
mywebsite.com/component/jak2filter/?Itemid=507&issearch=1&isc=1&created_by=83&category_id=2
I would like the results to appear/refresh at the same page or in a position that I can manage!
I enabled the plugin and followed all the instructions to do so but I might mssing something here..
That’d be great if someone can help me through this!

Please navigate to Extensions >>> Module Manager >>> choose JAK2 Extra fields Filter and Search module >>> in Search Result Settings >>> Menu ItemID >>> you can choose to display search result in specific page by selecting menu item there.

In the demo version, everything is loading on the right position of the page, how can I choose any position of the page I am linking the module to, to do in the same spirit?

Hi @amirgca,
You can place the JAK2 Extra fields Filter and Search module on the left / right side of your site (depends on the module position of your template), choose to display the search result in specific menu item and make sure you assign the JAK2 Extra fields Filter and Search module to that page, that’s all.
