May 1, 2009 at 8:42 pm #140796First, here’s my live url (under construction): http://www.sypfantasyhockey.com
If you take a look at the “Latest Articles” list on the right hand side of the slideshow, you will see that is is missing some structure.
What I would like to do is add an image underneath the Latests Articles module in effort to creat an effect more like the Headlines section at this site:
I have the ability to do the graphics on photoshop, but I am not sure how I would go ahead adding it to my JA Opal template?
Any suggestions to get me started would be very helpful. 🙂
I suppose i am wondering…the image grey box underneath the slideshow is likely just an image file. Do I modify that image, or can I create a new image to put between that image and the Latest Articles module?
Hope that makes sense?

I’m not sure how to clarify any further.
If you look at http://www.nhl.com, you will see on the right hand side the area that says “top Headlines”
If you see, the headlines are nicely sperated by different shades of color.I would like to do the same, on my site: http://www.sypfantasyhockey.com, and since I cannot find a module that automatically suppllies a configurable background image, I can make it myself.
My problem is i’m not sure where to put the image, or should I alter the image that is already there (also goes underneath the slideshow).
Does that make more sense?

May 2, 2009 at 3:33 am #303180To simplify, maybe this is more clear. I am trying to change the grey background image that sits behind the Slideshow and User 5 module, as shown in the pic below.
