    Hi,

    I would like to remove the left fading part of the header images in JA Rochea, so that I simply have a striaght image across the page as a header without the fading part of the image that extends down the lefthand side of the page (where the left menu is situated).

    I have part managed to do this, by simply deleting the image files for the fading images, however I would now like to modify the template so the left menu and modules are pushed up the page and take the place of where the fading header image used to appear…

    Can someone please advise?

    Many thanks.

    Simply edit your template html from within joomla.

    Scroll down to the section that reads

    <!– END: HEADER –>

    And delete these lines above it.

    <div id="ja-subhead" style="background: url(<?php echo $tmpTools->templateurl()."/images/headers/$ja_headerimg-bg1.jpg";?>) no-repeat bottom left;">
    <div class="innerpad">

    <jdoc:include type="modules" name="top" style="xhtml" />
    </div>
    </div>

    </div>

    Make sure you unpublish the JA Newsflash module in position top too.
