September 18, 2012 at 4:00 pm #180783Hello !
First of all I would like to reinforce that this forum is the place where I most likely find the solutions for my Joomla issues. Tks Joomlart staff for the great support.
At the moment I am with the following challenge:
I am using JA Edenite and Joomla 1.5
In my main menu there is an item that points to a specific Article (menu type: Articles >> Article)
So, when the articles loads, the main menu is still there. But, in the case of that specific article, I do not want to show the menu.
Could you please help to to figure out how to edit the source code in order to do that ?
Tks a lot in advance !

September 19, 2012 at 6:53 am #467478Hello hbf1000,
Would you like to hide main menu module (it means all items in main menu)? If so, you can go to “Module Manager”, find main menu module, then configure “Menu Assignment” setting for it.
If you’d like to hide only 1 item in main menu, sorry you can’t. Joomla doesn’t support it.
Feel free to let me know if you need any further assistance.
Regards.

November 10, 2012 at 11:15 am #472496Stork11,
I did as you said but the Main Menu is still there. I tried with the footer menu to test but this menu selection is not working. The modules are still there although they are not marked to be displayed in 1 menu.
What should I be doing wrong?

November 12, 2012 at 2:41 am #472583Hello hbf1000,
Please send me the link where you want to hide your Main menu and PM me your site information (your site URL, your site admin account) and your FTP account? So I can diagnose this problem.
BTW, please include this forum thread URL in your PM, so I can follow it.
Regards.

</blockquote>Hi,
Did you try to assign your Menu Module like this capture
On the link (nr-9-ppra.html) that you want to hide Menu Module, I only see Main menu and the Footer menu, so you want to hide Footer menu ?

</blockquote>Hello,
Yes, Main menu is not called from Module manager, but in template manager >> Parameter >> Menu Type
And you can’t set to hide Main menu in JA Edenite for Joomla 1.5
