How do you use a text link to open a specific accordion panel?

Actually, there’s no way to implement this.
You can try another tweak by creating a new option in JA Accordion control panel, so you can choose to set which panel will be activated on load.

Please let me know if the solution suits you so we can go ahead in more details.

Hi Adam, would I need to create multiple modules? I don’t think this will work for me because ideally i would like the navigation item when clicked similar to an achor link open the selected panel.

Yes, you will have to create module for each specific page. If you want to customize the module to suite your need, it’s best to hire a developer to do the work for you since we haven’t provided customization service at this time yet.
