Clicking on items in the home is open in Design view blog, and not on the same page as in the demo site. (see attached image). How to fix?

A common question that one. Jooma needs a menu item to assign modules to. So if for instance you open an article that is in a category that has no menu item assigned to it then Joomla does not know how to assign modules and so opend the item in the same page.

So all you need to do is create a new menu. This menu does not need to be displayed on your site, just as long as it is published. Create for instance a new menu of the type category blog and have it contain the category or categories that your items articles are in. Publish it and that should be it.

What I want to achieve and behavior like that of the demo, in practice, that the article will open in the same page as K2> Categories. I have not yet assigned menu opens up like in the image posted.

If I select a category (mod K2 Tools) displays as follows:
    http://serverftp.yellindustry.com/it/home-it/itemlist/category/13-living.html

While in the demo displays like this:
    http://joomla25-templates.joomlart.com/ja_lens/itemlist/category/9-sport.html

    I could not explain well … :((
on the site I’m working on articles open in a different way from the demo:
    http://serverftp.yellindustry.com/
(you try clicking on an item in the home)

Instead I would like to open as the test site, where I also installed the sample data:
    http://living.yellindustry.com/
(you try clicking on an item in the home)
I copied and compared all the parameters but to no avail Articles continue to open in an unusual way (on the site http://serverftp.yellindustry.com/) …

    Hello lorixmod,

When an item is opened in the home page that means there is no menu item referring to it or referring to the category which it belongs to. In this case, you need to create a menu item somewhere that points to those items or to the categories which they belong to.

I don’t find any menus that link to the categories which items from module belong to. Please re-check your menu.

The problem is precisely that the articles do not open in the home, although there are no set up menu.

I also tried to disable all menus except the home, but the articles are still open as if there was a menu item associated with, and not in the home as in the demo site.

    Hello lorixmod,

To do like that, please set “Yes” for “Popup preview” setting as screenshot below:

    Regards.
