    Hi
I would like to be able to place our company logo as a faint grey watermark in the back of every page that is displayed.

Does JA Helio have a feature to enable this?

    Thanks

Hi Maldown, if you want a logo on every page you would have to put that somewhere in the background image, But this would of course be covered for the most part of modules and not be seen very well, if at all.

Another idea would be to maybe have it as a faint logo on the background of every module instead. That way it is not hidden behind enything else. I don’t know if you like this idea, but it is just a thought. If you decide to do this, you would change this in the template.css file. I’m not exactly sure how to do it though. If the modules don’t use images I think it would be the easiest to then add that as a background image. I’m sure there are others who have ideas as well or who can come up with a workable solution.

To further on what the last poster said,

I have a logo in the background of my modules.
    Temporary dev url: http://www.sypfantasyhockey.com

Another idea would be to do something like what many sports sites do:
    http://www.mlb.com
http://www.dobberhockey.com (I think this is a Joomla site)

    Thanks for the ideas guys.

“theprofessor” – I love what you’ve done to your site. Is this all done using the JA Helio template? If so, it looks great! What did you use to create the custom menu headings, etc?

That’s what I was talking about. But the watermark will ethe same size no matter how big the module is.ou could then also put the same watermark on the front page area.

Great site by the way there, professor. One thing, maybe you should chnage the favicon?

Hey professor, which modules/components are you using for your “create account” pop up and login pop ups – I like the way they look and want to integrate something like this on our site too.
    Thanks

    Thanks 🙂
It’s JA Opal. The menu headings are standard to that template, but custom headings could be made with photoshop or something like that.

The backgrounds to the modules are just images I did up in GIMP (my free, open source alternative to Photoshop).

Yep, it’s on the list of things to do. The url is actually just a temporary dev url. Our launch date is in 9 days.

This site is replacing the original one we outgrew already: http://www.schoolyourpool.com (not sure how long that url will work, I have already initiated the transfer). I made that one with Homestead. What a mistake. A learning exprerience that I wouldn’t take back, but a mistake nonetheless.
