Hello,
I just purchased the nifty new ‘frontpage slideshow’ module from Joomlaworks, and I am using the Ja Bellatrix template and I can get the frontpage slideshow module to display in user 7,8,9 of the template, but I would like to know how to display this module in the top center of the mainbody of my frontpage?
Is there a way to disable the user7, and user 9, and move the user 8 position to the top center of the main text body in the frontpage? Then I can just display it in user 8 position.
I found a discussion on Joomlart.com about placing the flash module in the mainbody position, with this example code below, but this was for a banner and in another template. What would the changes be and the example code in Ja Bellatrix?
I found the following code in the Ja Bellatrix index.php file: <div id=”ja-mainbody”>:
This Code is for a banner, but what should it be for the frontpage module?:
<?php if ( mosCountModules(‘banner’) ) { ?>
<div id=”ja-banner”>
<?php mosLoadModules ( ‘banner’, -2 ); ?>
</div>
<?php } ?>Your help is appreciated.

January 22, 2007 at 2:41 am #213403I finally found the answers to my pressing question of placing a a slideshow module in the top center position in the main body text of the frontpage in the Ja Bellatrix template.
I just purchased Joomlaworks new frontpage slideshow module because when I looked at the new termplate and the NEWS slideshow module from Joomlart.com, I found that the jumping page items were not acceptable, so I decided it was best to purchase a slideshow news module from Joomlaworks and get it to work in the Ja Bellatrix template.
A gentleman from Armenia helped me on the Joomla.org forums, and this guy knows his stuff. In a matter of minutes of him placing the help code and suggestions I was able to get the frontpage slideshow news module working exactly how I wanted it to work.
If you are using Ja Bellatrix and want to have a slideshow news module working on your frontpage, then go to this thread on Joomla.org and follow the thread, and when you come to Aravot’s code sample and suggestions you will see how to make this work properly.
Here’s the start of the thread here.
Here’s the section of the thread where aravot helps me with some sample code to get this module positioned properly and working in Ja Bellatrix.
