    Create your page.
Add the Page as a MENU item.
Then in the MENU area simply make page your DEFAULT.

    Hi John
I don’t quite follow the logic there, e.g: I have my own specific content for my site. I want my own content displayed in wall not any external content. But dont see how I should need to make 200+ odd menu items all set as default to accomplish this given the time and effort required when feedgator should in theory simplify this by being able to drag it in wether it’s external or internal to the site.

It may be I haven’t read enough of the documentation on both wal;l & feedgator or played around with wall enough to understand how they really work? I was kind of hoping I could create my content, categorise it, and use feedgator to drag my own content and display it as it does with other sources.

For this site, I really dont need the social feeds but more my own content that is very specific to the theme of the site. Do you have any advice or solutions please.
    Blessings Shannon

This template is pure responsive – the ONLY way modules to appear is for the screen size to be small enough that it forces the modules – normally on the right site on desktop – to the bottom. But again, even if you change the initial width of your webpage, or hack the number of columns that appear – there is NEVER any guarantee that the modules will appear at the bottom using this template in every single device.

And that is the purpose of this template – one template that will show content in EVERY device no matter the screensize.

I would recommend you use JA Puresite which is built on a grid to do just that.

    Have fun!

You misunderstood the question above – he was wanting to place STATIC PAGES on the front page.
What you are asking is to limit the dynamic content on the front page.
What appears on the FRONTPAGE of our DEMO is content derived from the MAIN MENU menu item HOME.

If you are working from the QuickStart . . .
Goto MENUS > MAIN MENU > HOME
As you’ll notice this is set as CATEGORY BLOG type.
In the REQUIRED SETTINGS you’ll see “Choose a Category” with a drop down listing of all categories.
Depending on the hierarchy of your Categories (CONTENT > CATEGORY MANAGER) the items that will appear on the FrontPage will be those in the Category you select…and their children.

    Hope this help!
    John.

    Hi John
Thanks for clarifying that I indeed misread the op as wanting static CONTENT not pages. 🙂
Now I need to follow your instructions and see where it leads me.
    Again thanks

Dear John, My problem is that content (an article) is BEHIND frontpage slideshow on my frontpage. How can I get this to the front for reading?
    Thanks, Pieter

I’m assuming this is not a “Wall” question?
Do you have a URL so we may have a look at the issue? And what template are you working with so I can get it in the proper category?

    thanks!

Hi John, I send you by pm a link to my site. As you can see, the text of the content is behind the image of the content. Can you see what is the problem?
    Regards, Pikaweb
