I have a problem with a module appearing in menu selections when instructed not to do so. I have an ad module that is supposed to appear only in the sl1-r module position of the “home” menu item — the front page. However, when I add jevents to a “Life” menu item, the ads appear in the sl1-r module position on the “life” page. Why is a module that is supposed to appear on “home” also appearing in other menu items? How do I prevent this?

Hi ithacaindy,

That’s strange if there is a problem as mentioned, I guess the “Life” page is actually is pointing to the Home menu item, Could you post here your url (remember to disable SEF in Golobal configuration so we can see the Itemid value at the url) ?

Have you tried clearing your JAT3 cache? Sometimes (not always, but sometimes) this helps to “kick start” a configuration such as yours into functioning as it should. Just a suggestion.
