I would like to put stylish media icons like ripcurl.com just below my slideshow in the hero unit. Just for facebook and instagram in the meantime…

For this You can use custom html module and add your icon social icon like in above site . You can choose icon from Font-awesome Here or create your own icon and upload them on site . You can also use Third party social buttons i.e : Addthis icon here
