Hi,

I’ll make it short.

Here is the situation on my website JA EVENT template (green bar) and i would like to have the same as the Joomlart Demo bar (blue bar) with the Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus icons….can anyone help me ?

Hi

Which version of the template you have installed ? Joomla 1.5 or joomla 1.7 ?

Hi

You must download install and enable the JA System Social plugin for Joomla 1.7 from here

After done that goto /templates/ja_events/css/template.css and add at the end of the file these lines of code

.ja_socialaftertitle {
float: left;
padding: 3px 0;
}

.ja-fblike-button { margin-right: 5px; }

.ja-retweet-button {
float: left;
}

.ja-fbshare-button {
float: left;
background: none;
padding: 0;
margin-right: 5px;
}

.gplusone-share-button { float: left; }

Thanks for your help. I put the lines as you asked on the .css file (top top down in the file) and here is the result i got :

I would like the icons to be on the green bar (like on the JArt demo model).

You already have settings for the social buttons in your template.css so please remove the lines i’ve suggested to add before.

.ja_socialaftertitle {
float: left;

OK, i removed the additional one, however it doesn’t change anything, my buttons are still located in the message and not on the navigation bar.

Is it possible that i should activate some specific items in the Articles Options ?

The problem is solved, i went into the plugin section then on the “System – JA Social” plugin and managed all the options there.
