Hi Tien,

I am sorry, it still does not work when I link the parent item to category in the menu. All of the sub menus are expanded, not collapsed as in the demo:

Also, out of curiosity I switched menu to Right and the behavior does not even work there to make it like the demo. Is there some setting I am missing? I want the menus that have sub-menus collapsed on initial view, exactly like the JA Nickel Demo Is this problem occuring because this is not the Main Menu and a custom other menu? If so, how can that be resolved so the menu collapses?

When you made done for all parent menu items, and then you go to the configuration of the main menu module to disable showing submenu:

Always show sub-menu Items No

Or you try finding a menu module In JED http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/structure-a-navigation/menu-systems 🙂

Ah OK! I think it will work now. I just need to re-organize some content now that we can’t use the separator for parent time.
