Dear sfpkent!

Please open the file template.css file and try to find the following css:

#ja-container {
background: url(../images/container-bg.gif) repeat-x bottom left;
margin: 30px 0 0;
padding-bottom: 2px;
position: relative;
z-index: 5;
}

and the /css/mod_jaslideshow2.css file:

.ja-slidewrap {
border: 0;
margin: 0;
padding: 0 0 20px 0;
position: relative;
}

Pls adjust the value for the padding property on above rule css
