Hi,

I went to article settings and turned most of the options to “hide”. But the author info still appears in the bottom part of all the articles.

Could you please let me know why and how I can make it work?

Hi

Probably you are referring to K2 items , to remove author you should edit category settings -> Item view options -> author options

Here is a snapshot of the ‘author’ info at the bottom of articles. I have also found it at the bottom of other extension pages. I am not sure if it is template related or Easy Social related. I have looked over various settings within my extensions but have not found a way to remove it.

While searching for a solution to something else, I found the answer to solve this problem. The solution is found in your Plugins. To remove the author info box at the bottom of content, you need to disable the ‘Content – Easy Social plugin.
