November 19, 2007 at 12:28 pm #123885Hello,
I love this template, it is the perfect fit for my wedding and Art site, but there is something I do not like about it and that is the wooden colored background that goes across the top where the JA Newsflash is placed, I think this template without that part would be just perfect for me. I do not mind having some background going across the module but not to extend across the browser, and also would like to change this image to something else.
Thanks in advance for your help.

November 19, 2007 at 12:30 pm #233092you could download the image files and change the psd background image in photoshop then replace it in your template folder on site

Thanks for the advise, I can do that and hopefully will be doing so as soon as I get other errors that I have going on, but my main concern is changing the width of the div that holds this background image, I would like it to be the same width as the main body only and not extend to the brouser or screen size, in other words I need it to be fixed. I would probably need the file name to edit and the line since I am not an expert with HTML or css code.Thanks

If you make a transparent gif to replace the wooden bkg image that is the same height and width it will of course solve the wooden look and keep the div open at the correct size 🙂

November 19, 2007 at 11:15 pm #233118Hi ShannonN,
Your idea does really helps me in case is the only choice, thanks for your reply, if there is no other option I will defenetely give it a try, but instead of removing the whole BG, I would like to keep some of it, the center bg where the JA news slide is I want to be able to use that part and maybe change to my owm image, but I think the way to accomplish this is to edit the CSS for the div containing this BG, if anybody knows the correct path to it please post it here for me.Very much appreciat all your help guys.

November 20, 2007 at 1:28 am #233120You can open the template_css.css file on line 1321:
#ja-topslwrap
and delete the background from there.
And you can find line 1325 and add the background you want there:
#ja-topsl {
background:url(../images/changethistoyourimage) repeat;
font-size:115%;
height:180px;
}November 21, 2007 at 8:38 pm #233222Thanks for pointig that out Menalto but would it also be possible to collapse it on subsequent pages? I think it is a beautifal layout and want to use it. My problem is the space is perfect for a home page where yo uwant to emphasize certain parts of the site but subsequent pages do not need it to be that large or even there at all. So I have 2 questions:
1) Can it be collapsed when not needed?
or
2) Can it be reduced in size on subsequent pages?Thanks for your help!

Doesn’t it collapse once you’ve unpublished all of the modules in that area?cepedalc Friendcepedalc

November 25, 2007 at 2:29 am #233372Hi Miccas,
To be a Support Team member I was hoping something better, what if I want the module in that position doing what they do? I just need to know if it is possible to colapse the div that holds this module and use it in a standar way and only use it as the same size of the rest of the page’ body.
Could you help me with that? only if possible, please guide me to the right code. -
