How do I remove all copyright info from the Mitius Template?
I’ve searched the forums, the knowledgebase, etc and find lots of discussion but no answer.

When I purchased the copyright removal last week, I received this email:

We received your copyright removal request and payment.

The file is stored in Your Member Area. Please log-in to download.

    Regards,
    JoomlArt team

P.S.: Ping us at http://support.joomlart.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit for personal assistance about your copyright removal or any other issue you may have.

    ……
However, this is just the list of my memberships which includes the copyright removal, the link from which is exactly the same as the non-removal version. There is no info or instructions on this.

How do you do the copyright removal?

    Thank you.

    Hi

You need to login in your Member area

In Your payment history PDF Copyright / Rebranding column, click on PDF and download the document with instructions

    Thanks, I found it.
That’s pretty complicated for something that costs more than the template.

So, the directions in the PDF are contradictory. They say “Pleasedo not touch other text” just remove what is in red, but the file is very different from the example. The example:

JA Teline II

    The actual file:

    <!#468847[/URL]padding: 1px 0;”>

Download | Demo | Document | Changelog

Note: JA Mitius Template requires T3 plugin to be installed and enabled.

Copyright 2004 – 2014 <a href=’http://www.joomlart.com/’ title=’Visit Joomlart.com!’>JoomlArt.com.

Is it OK to remove everything in the
tag? Or will that corrupt things? In which case, what can be removed?

What about the <license> and <group> tags? They seem to have been added since the directions were written?

    Thanks for your help,

    R

    Hi,

Sorry to have so much trouble, but Step 2 Removing JA copyrights from template’s footer: doesn’t work.

There are 3 versions given, and none can be completed. The JAT3v1 instructions don’t work as that info isn’t in the file listed. The JAT3v2 instructions don’t work as there is no directory pluginssystemjat3 to look in. I imagine the T3v3 instructions are the correct set for this template, but in the directory pluginssystemt3basehtml there is no default.php file. There is an index file, but it is empty.

Where do I find the missing default.php file to copy and edit?

    thanks,

    R

    Hi

I imagine the T3v3 instructions are the correct set for this template, but in the directory pluginssystemt3basehtml there is no default.php file

Correct , you should use that procedure

Please verify again because file should be there, otherwise you cannot see the actual copyright info on your website

The file pluginssystemt3basehtmldefault.php does not exist. I checked 10 times before sending the first post. Just to be sure, I have checked again.

Yet, somehow, the copyright info prints anyway.

Perhaps it is possible that you changed the method, but forgot to change the instructions? It looks like this code in the file /html/mod_footer/default.php could be generating the copyright statement?

    ?>

    <small class=”<?php echo $moduleclass_sfx ?>”><?php echo $lineone; ?> Design by <a href=”http://wwww.joomlart.com” target=”_blank” <?php echo method_exists(‘T3’, ‘isHome’) && T3::isHome() ? ” : ‘rel=”nofollow”‘ ?>>JoomalArt
    <small class=”<?php echo $moduleclass_sfx ?>”><?php echo JText::_(‘MOD_FOOTER_LINE2’); ?>

Is this it? Should it be changed, or deleted?

Also, is it safe to remove all the info in the
tag I asked about above?

    Thank you,

    Change it

Also, is it safe to remove all the info in the
tag I asked about above?

You can change it, not remove it

Thank you, I was able to work this out.
