how can i remove featured article block which is at the middle of the page in “LEFT” column?

Hello guy

that ‘s the front page component, it’s not module. you turn off this via the setting of home menu:
you set some parameters as following:

# Leading 0
# Intro 0
Columns 0
# Links 0
