How to remove few sentences at the bottom page as below:-

“Joomla! is Free Software released under the GNU/GPL License.”

You can disable module titled footer

Also, It would be suggested to please view following blog as it shows how you can make use of ?tp=1 with enhanced capability to check in template module positioning 🙂
