July 13, 2012 at 5:36 pm #460874Thanks Tom
this is the url where you will see the da default quickstart slideshow “ja droid” http://corpladylee.com/webcorplady8/index.php/quienes-somos
for other menu pages and menu items, I was testing some other slideshow I found, however, I will like to keep as joomlast as I can, for many reasons..also, I changed the size of the template, to use ”auto’ as wide option. I hope it does not make things more dificult.
What I need to do, is to remove those black gradient blocks from slideshow on ‘quienes somos’ menu option, then, I will enable the module on pages I need, and uninstall the one I have on front.
thanks for your help.
rgds!

July 13, 2012 at 6:22 pm #460877The slideshow side gradients are image files that appear to be controlled via the following CSS . . .
file path –> /ja_droid/css/mod_jaslideshow.css
at line 22 . . . .
<blockquote>#ja-slideshow .ja-slide-mask, #ja-slideshow .ja-slide-mask2 {
background: url(“../images/sl-mask-left.png“) no-repeat scroll left top transparent;
display: block;
height: 100%;
left: 0;
position: absolute;
top: 0;
width: 100%;
z-index: 100;
}</blockquote>and line 34 . . . .
<blockquote>#ja-slideshow .ja-slide-mask2 {
background: url(“../images/sl-mask-right.png“) no-repeat scroll right bottom transparent;
position: absolute;
z-index: 101;
}</blockquote>Simply remove the background parameter from both CSS rules above – that should remove the gradient.
(remember to clear both your JAT3 cache and your browser cache after saving/uploading the change)
