November 1, 2013 at 6:54 pm #510944Can you not simply not assign the module to that Virtuemart page?

No, there is no option in the modules menu management for Virtuemart.
I even added the cart to a hidden menu, and selected to disable it from there, but no effect.Ninja Lead ModeratorNinja Lead

November 2, 2013 at 8:21 am #510988This is sidebar-1 position, you don’t assign all of these VirtueMart Shopping Cart, VirtueMart Search Product, VirtueMart Manufacturers, VirtueMart Category modules to menu items of sub-page and the detail product page, then they will not display in those pages.
For sample: see the my screenshot

November 3, 2013 at 11:57 pm #511074Hi,
Ninja Lead, unfortunately that does not work.
I want the sidebar-1 views to show on the category and product pages and every other page EXCEPT the cart.
There is no option to specifically deselect the cart (as also shown by your picture example).Any further ideas?
All the best,
Calavaro

November 4, 2013 at 5:04 am #511099After testing a lot of things, and through trial and error I came to the conclusion that my SEF component messed it up.
I disabled that, and only use the built in SEF and it all works as I want (I add the cart to a hidden menu, and disable displaying the items on that menu).1 user says Thank You to calavaro for this useful post
