I want to remove Menu Area option from Ja_erica.

I’m using it on J!1.5 (kephri).

Tried to delete code in index.php, but it didn’t helped. Then I removed hpswitch-on.png i hpswitch-off.png from images folder.

Now I don’t see those two, but the ‘hotspot’ is still there, and reacts on mouse click. (slides the page down and opening empty space where I disabled all user tools).

where did I go wrong?

This suggestion works, but result in a javascript error (yellow alert in status bar) in IE7.
