I did… Also the ones within “Themes” folder but still there… I deleted cookies etc… Nothing changed.

Can you provide the url of the site you’re working on?

It would also be helpful to (temporarily) set “Optimize CSS” to “No” within your Template Manager–General settings.

I just checked your site CSS and the “Mero” image for the footer was still there – though you mentioned you changed it in Post #2 above.

Here is what I am seeing (using Firebug to inspect the CSS). . .

Within file path –> /templates/ja_mero/css/themes/light/template.css

at line 3046:

.copyright {
background: url("../../../images/themes/light/footer-logo.png") no-repeat scroll left center transparent;
}


If you remove the “background” property from this CSS rule – making sure to save your changes and (just in case) clear both your JAT3 and browser cache – the “Mero” image within the footer should no longer display.

For good measure, you can also delete the “footer-logo.png” image altogether from your images/themes/light file.

Hello thank for the tip.

we remove these lines

.copyright {
background: url(../images/footer-logo.png) no-repeat left center;
}

in /templates/ja_mero/css/template.csss

and in /templates/ja_mero/css/themes/light/template.css TWICE

So, just for information, you must remove these line 3 times.

I don;t see anywhere in template general settings how to set optimize css to no.
I also don;t see where to clear the JAT3 Cache.
I still see the footer logo

I don;t have that option in template manager.

BTW – I managed to remove the footer logo – I had to edit 3 css files to remove the logo.
