Here is another method to try . . . .

Within the following folder –> administratorlanguageen-GBen-GB.plg_system_jat3.ini

look for this string –> HOME_PAGE_TITLE=”Welcome to the Frontpage”

Delete “Welcome to the Frontpage” . . . or change it to whatever you want.

SAVE CHANGES – CLEAR CACHE – REFRESH PAGE

I found the above mentioned file, but this message is not the message reflected on the Home tab, so I did not edit it.
I got Joomlart to install this template and I assume it must be part of the demo version. Can you assist me in finding and removing
the ‘Newspaper template Joomal 2.5’ text on the ‘Home’ page tab.
I’d appreciate any assistance. Cheers

Hi

To remove the Page title “‘Newspaper template Joomal 2.5′” you need to go to menu manager –>magazine–>Home–>on the right you have all available options for this item choose the Page Display Option and in Browser Page Title change the title as you prefer or disable it in Show Page Heading
