I have tried to change the favicon with the component Phoca Favicon. I have used this component before, successfully. But, this time, the favicon is not changing.

When I refresh the browser, before the it stabilises, I can see the my new favicon. But as soon as it finishes refreshing, the Joomal icon come back in place.

Any advice, please?:((

Use a ftp or your cpanel to delete it from your host. You will have to refresh your cache before you see changes.

I have tried that yesterday. I thought it was the cache but it is not.

I have deleted the favicon. But it still appears.

This is the path: /templates/ja-anion/favicon.ico

Can you post your site URL? Are you talking about the joomla favicon? Because i think that’s in the root directory.

Yeah,
There are two favicon.ico files one in the template (JA Anion) root and another in the plugin root as suggested by studiofat above.

Try replacing both of them and clear cache to see it.
