May 19, 2011 at 9:39 pm #392019I’ve had a look but as a lot of your folders are unwritable I cannot make any adjustments to the profiles not can I see the ?tp=1 page to see exactly what that block is.

Actually I haven’t received any PM with access info. So, I couldn’t change anything on the site.

May 20, 2011 at 9:25 am #392093If I check to no “Hide Main content block” (in Templates Manager: Edit Style / Profiles / Default)
The band disappearsIs it help you ?
For the ?tp=1, for info (but I’m the simple user), you must go to the template manager and set the options “Preview Module Positions” to enabled.
So now you can see positions. See the screenshot.

May 20, 2011 at 10:26 am #392106So you need to do just that and hide the main content block (which is what I suspected). You can use profiles to set that to be hidden on just the home page but until all your folders are writable the setting will not save.

May 20, 2011 at 11:08 am #392115Ok, thank you .
So the solution is :
1) go to “Template Manager: Edit Style” and make a new profile.
For example, clone a existing one (I cloned the blue theme)2) On this new profile (blue theme copy), set “Hide Main content block” to YES.
3) select your homepage (on the left, “Page Assignments”, Click to add) and assign your new profile (blue theme copy).
4) Save, clear cache & refresh your home page !
It’s working 🙂
BUT we don’t know why this happens on some site but not on the demo site of jateline IV ???

May 20, 2011 at 12:01 pm #392123On the demo site this is setup with the content block hidden on the home page. There are many profiles included in the quickstart and one of them has the content block hidden. If you do a manual install you would of course need to create and assign this.

May 20, 2011 at 12:10 pm #392124I installed my website from the quickstart package.
So I see now the “home” in the profiles (in Templates Manager: Edit Style).
So the quick solution is simply to assign the new home page (of the new menu) to the “home” profiles.Thank you for the explanation 🙂
