Hello,

I’d like to remove the text ‘Welcome to JA Rave’ next to the main menu in the JA Rave template. I found a thread about how to do that, but while the text is removed the two lines over and under ‘Welcome to JA Rave’ are still there. How can I remove those lines as well?

Go to templates/Ja_rave/css/template.css at line 51 you have
h1.componentheading, .componentheading {
border-bottom: 5px solid #DDDDDD;
color: #555555;
font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
font-size: 100%;

Change to
h1.componentheading, .componentheading {
border-bottom: 0px solid #DDDDDD; <——this line must be changed
color: #555555;
font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
font-size: 100%;

Hey pavit,

Thanks for your solution and although it sounded logical as what… it didn’t work.

I uploaded the file with Filezilla to my computer >> opened it with notepad >> I changed the 5px to 0px >> saved it as a .css document en downloaded it back to the server >> refreshed the page and… completely nothing. To be sure I also changed some other codes (like color) to see what happens, but also nothing. Apparently I missed something I think. Any other suggestions? 😉

When you have uploaded the file on your server, have you overvritten the previous file ?

Hey pavit,

I solved the problem in the mean time. Well actually, I didn’t… but after working on some other things first (before heading back and tackle this problem) it became apparent that I need that space after all, so I changed it all back and am using it now as a small ‘latest news’ section.

I don’t know if I can make a new request here or that I have to make a new thread (in that case, let me know), but I came across this other thing which I don’t really know what it’s called (therefore hard to look for it in the forum) 😉

When I move the cursor over the top menu in JA Rave, this yellow sort of popup appears which mentions what is already clear. For example: when I move the cursor over ‘Home’ in the top menu, this yellow popup shows up saying exactly the same thing… ‘Home’. Pretty silly if you ask me 😉 How can I disable that? I looked for it in the template manager and in the main menu parameters, but can’t find anything there. Again, part of the problem is that I don’t know what the yellow popup is called.
