June 8, 2009 at 10:22 am #307292Breadcrumbs is enabled.
Please disable it under module manager.
If it still appears, enable breadcrumbs, but set it to appear on no pages.

It is embedded in the index.php file.
Open it with any editor, and remove it.

September 13, 2009 at 1:25 am #317189Maybe You can use the Dreamweaver or Notepad to help you find the word ” you are here” in the index.php file.

September 14, 2009 at 3:24 am #317282Hi
I am sorry for my delay.
For this case, please open templatesja_olivineindex.php file, at about line 199, find following code section:
<!-- BEGIN: PATHWAY -->
<div id="ja-pathway" class="clearfix">
<strong>You are here:</strong><jdoc:include type="module" name="breadcrumbs" />
</div>
<!-- END: PATHWAY -->
Here you can change ‘You are here’ text to your language.
Hope it helps.

September 14, 2009 at 10:54 am #317319What would REALLY help would be that this kind of string would not be hard coded and would be translatable !
“Change to your own language” … And what about multilingal sites ???
Come on JA, Joomla 1.5 has been designed to be translatable and it is not hard to use JText to make sure everything is transalatable using for example JoomFish.
It is just lazy coding !

Stupid comments?That’s how simple it was.
If you tried it yourself without complaining then you would see for yourself. Read the other posts to see what they say – oh wait – it’s EXACTLY the same thing I said!
From my side, I don’t find the breadcrumbs module to disable. So I deleted the you are here in the php file.

September 14, 2009 at 11:32 am #317321Stop flaming and someone will help you.
Your attitude isn’t going go get you anywhere in this forum – LEAST of all by challenging scotty.
If you want PROFESSIONAL support – then go submit a support ticket. Us amateurs won’t help you then, you’ll be getting the professional support you paid for then!
Besides, what your asking for has nothing to do with this thread. Your asking to translate code – this is to remove it.
Make a new thread – or post a support ticket! Your definitely not going to get help by shouting expletives in this forum or dissing or top members.
Something for you to think about before you make your next thread attempting to diss ME down.

September 14, 2009 at 11:51 am #317325Could anyone tell me if he/she had any of his/her ticket answered ?
Let me be clear, I have no complain against all the people who are trying to help on this forum and I am very grateful to them to spend time trying to fix issues. Thank to all of you.
My message was for “JA developer” who tries to do as he did not understand the problem.
The problem is not to find where is “You are here” (thanks to the answer of Hanifahmed) but the problem is that this string is hard coded and that is it not JoomFish compatible.
When people ask how to change it, they do not mean just changing it in ONE language but having it fully translatable.
And if you read the answer from JA Developer… he clearly did not get the point and answer it.
So to all other members of JA, THANKS a lot for your help and answers. I am really grateful.
To JA team, please:
– no more non translatable string (Joomla 1.5 spirit is to be 100% translatable)
– no more patches on the forum which are not applied to your archive (cf User5 in JA Tube)
– no more answers on the forum which do not correspond to the questionRegards
