Hello,
Great template. I was thinking about making a change to one of my sites and before going to all the effort of making a new logo etcetera for JA Antares, I thought about checking to see if the template works without modules overlapping menus, and sure enough the modules on the right side overlap the menus.
I have a number of different modules on each page and the modules overlap the menus in JA Antares. How can this be resolved, as I would like to use this template. I am viewing my site in FF 2.0 and also in IE 6 and IE 7 and this happens in each.
I tried to upload screen shots following the size guide and the uploads failed.
Essentially all modules seem to overlap the last few menu items or last menu item on the left hand side menu of this template. Suggestions as to possible fix?
Any suggestions and assistance appreciated.
Doug

December 6, 2006 at 4:22 am #212322Hi Doug,
Could you provide your live url?December 6, 2006 at 6:46 am #212329khanh,
Thanks for your prompt response.
Since I can’t shut my current site down and can’t leave it running with the ja_antares template, I set up a demo site on the same server with the ja_antares template and I get the same issues with the module overlapping the side menus in the default installation, even without adding all the many left side modules from my site.
The main_menu module is overlapping the menus. I can get this to happen with many modules. Perhaps it has something to do with my site? Anyways, you can take a look and see what you think.
Here’s the site:

I can give you access to the backend if you would like to look from that viewpoint. Let me know and I can email you the administrator password and username for the demo site.

December 6, 2006 at 9:27 am #212333Hi Doug,
Cause this template displays mainmenu beside the site header, therefore we fix the height of the menu (meaning the fixed number of menu items). If you want to increase or decrese the menu’s (and JA Header Image module’s) height, go to the template_css.css file and change the height of #ja-banner and #ja-mainnav to the value you want.December 6, 2006 at 9:15 pm #212344khanh,
Thank you very much for your response, it is very much appreciated. This is the main reason why we choose Joomlart.com for our template needs. The assistance is the best around.
I have another question when you can get to it.
Last night I was working on installing the ja-ragulus template and modifying some of the HTML and CSS stuff as specified in a previous thread about replacing the MooFX with a Flash Rotator module and I found a major issue that I can’t solve.
I followed the thread and inserted and changed the code as instructed in the thread and when I was finished, the module shows up and everything looks okay, except it does not rotate but more importantly, now that I have made these changes to the template the screen resize buttons on ja-Regulas extra now do not work.
The site is http://www.westkootenayunplugged.com
I am also trying to figure out how to stop the right hand side modules from overlapping the center or main body text items.
Any assistance appreciated.

December 7, 2006 at 3:01 am #212350That you have deleted this line in the template index.php file causes the problem:
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript" src="<?php echo $ja_template_path;?>/scripts/ja.script.js"></script>
January 18, 2007 at 8:12 pm #213256Have just installed Antares and see that many of the menus overlap. Should I be unpublishing some of them? It looks like there are 2 main menus? Yes, I am a newbie so please excuse the poor lingo.

February 9, 2008 at 5:39 pm #238749one more overlapping menu issue
I’ve just installed JA_Antares on a new site http://www.entersi.it , and assigned the template only to the home page, unpublishing the main_menu module. I do NOT want the banner, I see that the main_nav is pubòlished in the letf column. How could I prevent the modules in the left column to overlap the main menu?
Is it possible to increase the height and font size of the main menu items?
I’not done any customization yet.
Thanks in advance for your help -
