June 25, 2009 at 7:35 am #142225Hi everybody!
My problem:
I started a new page for a football-club using ja_sulfur.
As the club has a couple of supporters/sponsors I wanted to list them up by using the ja_contentslide modul. Now the module is showing the slideshow.
I choosed to show only a pic with the supporter’s logo and no text or title.I want that when you click on the banner you’re linked to the supporter’s/sponsors’ website.
HOW CAN I SET THOSE LINKS?
Actually the pics have strange links….
I created a content “article” for each sponsor.
the “article” actually is just a banner-pic with the link to an extern website on it.And if it’s not possible that every pic in the contentslide modul has its own link, would it be possible to set 1 link for all of them?
In that case I would create a general supporter/sponsors-site where you’ll be linked to.the website is http://www.sl04.ch
(I set it online now.. but i’ll set it offline tomorrow again.
Admins: I could send you login and password for the backend if you want)Thanks!
salviJuly 10, 2009 at 6:03 pm #310629I would like to have contentslide working as a banner module because it has the nice slide function but I can’t make it open an external link before opening the article.
Does anybody know how to do it?
Thanks.

July 30, 2009 at 3:29 am #312640Hello fcasports!.
As you know: JA Contentslider has only worked with Joomla artilcles , You can’not make any external link for each item by its configuration.
To do something as you expected, i think you ought to customize it, if you have knowledge of PHP language, it is’nt so difficult 🙂salvi70 Friendsalvi70

Thanks for the explanation.
In the meantime I found a free module, called banner-slider, with similar fade-in effects. It works with the original joomla banner-component.I used it on my site.
greetings!
