July 6, 2012 at 4:10 am #178848Hi,
I am using JA Teline IV and I am trying to configure this menu. I can’t find a way to do it. I have checked different forums and links but I can tell you guys, it is just a mess the information you have a provide. Let me start with some questions:
1. Is there a module, plugin, component to download?. I downloaded the whole set of JA Teline IV, don’t ask me what I have you should know better.
2. I install the template and I can’t see the menu. None, any menu is displayed at all. So :
a) Your positon design says mainnav, mainnav, top. I set the main menu in top and nothing.
b) Now I went to watch a video that talks about other template and is not understandable.
c) Same as this guide, check this:
Checklist“In order to be able to enable the complete features list of the T3 navigation systems, you have to check:
– you have installed the JA Menu Parameters Plugin located in ja_purity_ii_-_stable_version.v1.X.zip/Extensions/plg_system_jamenuparams.zip. (JA T3 Framework 1.0 only)
– you have your T3 Framework based template set as your default template;
– you have set up megamenu as your default navigation system, so this way you can set up all your desired settings;– What are they talking about?.I downloaded the Teline IV template and no file with name plg_system_jamenuparams.zip. is included, where is it?
– “you have set up megamenu as your default navigation system, so this way you can set up all your desired settings; ” . Where? where do you set this? I don’t know who wrote this help but is not helping and I am getting really frustrated just to have a menu ready and shown in the web site.3. Does this menu, as the same shown in the demo Teline IV has to set manually ? or is there anything graphic to do it? if it is graphically, is it done in the Administrator ? or what else do I need to do to just show the menu?
4. I have disabled everything in my modules and I am still seeing my frontpage. I don’t see anywhere in these manuals, help or forums how to disable or hide or change whatever so it will show same format as you show in the demo.
I need detailed steps to accomplish this, I don’t need “go to this link and figure out” what to do. I need first step on how to disable, enable, change, whatever is needed to enable the same menu you have in that demo.
You can’t access my web site, it is my local machine and nothing has been uploaded yet and not planing to do it until I understand what to do with this template.
Thank you.

July 8, 2012 at 2:57 am #460189It would be helpful if you would post the url of the site you’re working on, so we can take a look at what’s going on.

July 8, 2012 at 9:40 am #460245Hi madelman2012,
We don’t use modules to config menu.
You can go to administrator->template manager -> template JA Teline IV.
Go to tab “Profiles”, menu config as the following image I attached below.
Thanks
