I hope anyone can help me to show the authors image (a small thumbnail) in every article written with this template or any other? i will appreciate it.

Hi benmont86,
You could try with K2 component, within this component, each item has an options to show author image or not. Another options is that you could search an extension in Joomla Community which support this.
