Hello,
The module user8 and user9 have different background color and font color in the demo page of this template. How can I configure the web page in the same way? I only can give one color to both user8 and user9 by manually editing css. Is there a easy way to give different color to different modules?
Thank you very much in advance.

SeanHi Sean
Depending on what you have in mind to put into the module once coloured, a lot of designers/templates suggest you create a coloured graphic rectangle/box with text on it if your aim is just to highlight something, that graphic can be made linkable to another page, special offer etcIt is probably the quickest way if you don’t need news items text that will change much etc
Hope this has been helpful

ShannonN</blockquote>Hello Shannon,
Thanks for your information. In the css file of this template, there is module style section. I can use it to change color for user8, user9 and right column. I do not know how to use css to make those places showing different color rather than a fixed graphic box. Can anyone tell me how to do this?
Thanks,

SeanHi Sean
I’m sorry if my answer was too generic, my unfamiliarity with The sargas template showed my ignorance of the module suffix commands
looking through the Sargas manual I see the module suffix can be applied to each module- JA Sargas provides three types of module class suffix. To make a module showed in hight light mode (like the “Did you know?” module in the demo page), add the class suffix -cyan, -orange or -green to your module parameter.
To do this when you have your module open in teh admin backend you have a list of parameters you can use with them, one of teh parameters is module class
this is where you enter the particular colour from the list of 3 colours provided -cyan -green -orangethis then gets applied to your module when the module loads
I hope this address’s the issue?
Cheers ShannonN

Hello SannonN,
Thanks for you helping to resolve my first question. I am a newbie in Joomlar. Can you help to me figure out another question?
On the home page of ja_sargas template, there is an extra emplty line before and after “read more…..” after each leading content or intro content. I can see that there is “<span class=”article_seperator”> </span>” after “read more…..” from page source. Which file should I modify to remove this “ ” from the page.
Thank you very much in advance!
Sean
